How to say love?
In emerald eyes
Of a cat as we walk
With dry leaves in the wind
As they move while we talk
In eucalyptus seeds
That are resting so shy
With a fragrance of a pinecone
That came here from high
Through a pomegranate fruit
That time slowly renders
That a penny could not buy
For the night is a splendor
With brown chestnuts buttons
That placed in our pockets
To warm lonely nights here
Inside as a locket
With a light of a candle
That form our shadows behind
With books on the shelf
That keep chanting abide
A letter to letter
The ink from the well
Our life here is magic
A dream and a spell
And with the wind that comes
directly from the sea
A gust of purple air
Suggests the morning free
