Snow – Sheleg – שלג
Snow is white and often stands for situations in life, that we can’t act upon. Meaning we can think about things, or have plans, but we can’t liquidate those thoughts or plans into actions.
When spring reappears every year, and with it, the sun’s rays, which have the ability to melt the snow into water, the colors that were hidden as a potential under the ground in their winter sleep, are coming out and reflect their infinite beauty.
The appearing of spring symbolizes the ability to act in the world, and with it the beauty of many colors. Whereas the color of white stands for thinking, the appearance of other colors stand for the ability to take the thinking into action.
