Every Year The Moon is Yearning

This is the first recording of a poem from my new book “The Song of the Well”.
Called “Every Year The Moon Will Yearn” (page 44)

Available in Amazon

The song in its English translation:

In every year the moon will yearn
To the best of her strings,
In a kingdom of endlessness.

Ten strings,
Radiant,
She shall tie,
Between the Day of coverage (Rosh Hashanah)
And the Day of Atonement

From the visage of the moon,
She will appear like an eagle,
Towards the visage of the sun,
To tighten the bond.

To an eternal, virginal unity,
Of endlessness and honey,
In silence to give birth,
To a new world.
