Usually, when people read the book of lamentations they think, that the destruction of the city of Jerusalem and the temple within it comes from God, while the people are passive puppets who have nothing to do with the disaster. The question is can it be that the destruction of civilizations, in general, comes from humans who have not had the image of God inside of them? Let’s see what does the Biblical Hebrew say about that.
