Gematria Table – The relations between Hebrew letters and and qualitative numbers

Shalom Everybody,

Lately, we were asked by one of our friends on the facebook page, about Gematria which in general means to grant every letter of the Hebrew Alphabet a numeral value, in a way that every letter from now on mirrors higher reality.

This morning we have made a live broadcast on facebook which we recorded and uploaded it to youtube. Here is the link, to your best conscience, feel free to ask or comment.

And for those who want to print it we have two options:

A) Gematria Table.odt for students 1 Black letters on a white background.

B) Gematria Table.odt for students 2 Black letters on a vintage background.

In Songs of Songs 8:12 it says הָאֶלֶף לְךָ שְׁלֹמֹה, meaning the thousand belongs for you, the king of the world, Salomon. For both the thousand 1000 and the letter Aleph imply to the master of the universe.

We can ask why does the king of the universe name Shlomo (in English Salomon)? And the answer is, because in Hebrew when we ask for someone peace, we say: “מה שלומו?” Ma Shlomo? and Shlomo means third person singular peace.

Shavua Tov, Good week 🙂
