Noah’s Ark Secret

Ark – Tei-va

The bible is not just a history book, the bible is a mirroring the human soul journey, here on earth. In this aspect, we can see our lives reflected in the biblical story.

For example, the biblical flood is not just a historical event, but a situation in life when everything is stormy around us, we can not find peace, the daily happenings are rough and threatening to swallow us with them. We don’t know what is up or down anymore, nor left or right, there is no distinction between night or day, everything is constantly chaotic, the seemingly ordered world of yesterday in not existing anymore, and the new order of the world to come, has not yet landed. We are stuck in the middle without the ability to act, to influence or to benefit.

For this situation the bible has an advice, “Make yourself an ark” but the bible does not speak of a physical dimension, but about mental one. The Bible offers us to build an ark, in Hebrew Tei-va, which also means a word, in other words, the Bible offers us a patent, since we cannot act outside of us in the world around us, we can act inside of us, by concentrating in a word, in a theme, in an idea, in a picture, in lyrics that could carry us through the flood and storms of time.
